Should you be limiting the fluoride in your water?
It has long been debated whether fluoride found in water has a positive or negative impact on your health. Research suggests that small doses can have a positive impact, whereas high doses can have a detrimental impact on your health.
If you want to limit the amount of fluoride in your water we have two options, a RO270 reverse osmosis system which will reduce fluoride up to 96% from your water long term or a FL051 cartridge that will reduce fluoride levels up to 90% with a capacity of up to 1,900L.
Fluoride Cartridge
A reverse osmosis system is the only sure way to reduce fluoride from your water supply long term but Puretec also offer a fluoride reduction cartridge that reduces fluoride in your water supply.
The Puretec FL051 cartridge was introduced for use as a pre-filter in a dual filtration system. The FL051 Reduces fluoride up to 90% with a capacity of approximately 1,900 litres (max recommended
pH of 7.5). As the FL051 cartridge is designed as a pre-filter, the best system to pair this with a dual filter system such as the CD13 (1/4 “ connection) or CD13-3 (3/4” connection) and a CB951-H cartridge for the secondary filter stage.
The CB951-H cartridge reduces bad taste, odour, chlorine, cysts and sediment as well as heavy metals down to 0.5 microns*.

The RO270 utilizes Reverse Osmosis technology to reject impurities and flushes them out down the drain. The system reduces up to 96% of all dissolved impurities, fluoride, heavy metals, salts, viruses, bacteria, cysts, nitrate, chlorine, taste, odour, and chemicals.
